bird eating cats
Are you people vegetarians? What is the difference between a cat eating a bird, and you eating a cow ?
Most cats I've known are not that good at catching birds anyway so I suspect their must be other reasons for the song birds dissapearence. On Umbra on cats and birds posted 2 years ago 72 Responses
Drought
Texas is flooded, Atlanta is dry. I think Mother Earth has decided that we are a mistake, is trying to get rid of us.On Umbra on dishwashing and droughts posted 2 years, 1 month ago 10 Responses
Food scraps
Tosing food scraps on the road side is good for the enviremont in the long run. So a few squirrels get run over by our cars. I don't know about banana peels, if you can't eat them or recycle them, what are you gonna do? They gotta be good for something! On Umbra on tossing food waste posted 2 years, 1 month ago 23 Responses
bird feeding
I have a question.
Why do bird baths need to be cleaned and refilled every day? My bird bath is a frisbee nailed to the porch. The sparrows seem to like it just fine. If they preffer fresh tap water they could just go back to the nest and turn on the faucet.

I think that these seal clubbers are a bunch of sadists. There is no reason whatsoever they couldn't pick up a drowned seal and turn it in. They have to kill the seal themselves, or they can't get it upOn Drown and Out posted 2 years, 7 months ago 7 Responses
foldable bikes
I am not sure of what perfect little world you have in Denver, biking and bussing are not that easy in most cities.
If you have a family and both parents work
you need three cars just to make sure you can get to work and still transport the kids. When one car needs work, you don't have time or money to get it fixed right away.On Umbra on owning multiple cars posted 3 years, 2 months ago 7 Responsescrossing the atlantic
There is no way to cross the ocean without burning up a lot of fuel, unless you swim or row. That's just the way it is.On Umbra on alternatives to flying posted 3 years, 8 months ago 2 Responses
