  • And a one, two, four, three...FIVE!

Do we need CHANGE? Yes, is it Obama or McCain? NO! What we need to change is the "you're either LEFT or RIGHT" mentality. 100% of this great nation is neither LEFT or RIGHT. The majority of us are somwhere in the middle. So why do we subject ourselves to the governance shoved down our throats. Why should we have to choose the "lesser of two evils"? While I am stil for Paris it seems I will be forced to vote for one of these dillweeds. Just a little advice people...quit parroting what the media says..either LEFT or RIGHT. Use your own brain and make your own comments. And, give some thought to having other choices for PARTIES in the COUNTRY and not just TWO. • The Person I Love To Hate

Why has no one put this man in his place. You have no idea the influence he has on his listeners. They almost place him in a "god-like" position. Surely the "wackos" have someone who could go toe-to-toe with Rush?!? What's the matter? Chicken?

Rush is a huge, and I'm not pointing out his weight problem, dissapointment to man kind. He makes me want to vomit and then suck it back up through a staw.

  • MadMax Here I Come

Dust off your motorcycle and start hording gas. Because that day is coming. You would be silly to believe one word that came from Big Oil. It's so simple - they woke up. They realized their stranglehold on everyone and have taken complete advantage of it. They have thrown every excuse in the book as to why prices keep rising. Demand is high, they won't let us build a refinery, an obscure North Korean tanker had a missle shot it, it's sunny, it's cloudy, it's a holiday weekend, it's a Wednesday, you name it they've dished it. Any you keep butying it. Geesh. Dig deep enough (like they do) and you'll find the truth. They themselves are the "speculators". A truly smart oil executive would have built a new refinery years ago. Think about it. Oh, another secret...the car makers are in on it. Heed the truth. On Goldman says oil 'likely' to hit $150-$200 by 2010 posted 1 year, 6 months ago 58 Responses

  • Circles are Devine - Big Oil IS NOT!

I could go on for three days about this. If you are listening to the TV, radio, big oil, Rush, your senators, magazines, newspapers, this webiste, any other website, any one source as your sole input - then you have been fooled. This is as dirty as the oil itself and it goes all the way from the top down to you. You are all to blame. Nah, just kidding. It's all Big Oil's fault. Seriously, I saw it on the news. • Bee Worthy...

The carpenter bees are coming! Eehhh. Geesh. Are you serious? Try living with Africanized bees. You would care less about some stupid bee that evolved to eat wood. Aren't those called termites anyway? Yes - the bees, the frogs, the polar bears are all coming my way. What'cha gonna do? Sit around and grope all day about it or actually do something? • Exxon and You

Usandthem, you're so right. But, then of course that is old news. Everyone knows that. However, there is more to the story...Many years ago, when BP and Shell were first making their push into renewables and their image change, Exxon held their annual Stakeholders meeting with all their shareholders, board, etc. At that meeting the shareholders and board visited an issue - what direction should Exxon take in the future? Sounds like a fair question, right? Well, their unanimous answer - to the world, mind you - was that Exxon would "never" be involved with renewable energy or sustainability. They "stated" that they were an oil company from day one and that is their sole purpose in life. Apparently, it has paid off. $40 BILLION last year and 2008 Q1 of $11 BILLION. If they keep pace, they should out perform themselves this year - all at the expense of whoever buys gas from them. Personally, if I were still around and could find a car to fit my size I wouldn't buy a pack of chewing gum from them, much less gas. Think about it. It's easy to rant and rave but takes much more to think. On Big Oil will shell out for groundwater cleanup posted 1 year, 6 months ago 3 Responses

  • Seriously Sierra?

Ahh, the Sierra Club. Protecting people from power plants since 1892. Huh? How many power plants were there in 1892 anyways? Not many would be the answer. Weren't they formed to protect the forests and woodlands? How did you get so far away from your original mission? You may want to go back and re-read what your founders said. I digress, onto business...we need energy folks. Yes, coal is not the best way but it beats living in a cave. Trust me, I know. I will say this once...each and every means of making energy has both a plus side and a negative side. No one (other than possible Tesla) has ever invented anything that is all positive. Instead of continually fighting why not help energy companies in a positive direction by offering assistance, guidance, sweat and hard work? Seriously, you need to all be in this together. Otherwise, Mother Earth will send you the way of the Dragon. -DragonOn Sierra Club will sue over new coal plants posted 1 year, 6 months ago 4 Responses

  • Rockefellers to Exxon...umm, hello?

Did Exxon (aka. the Evil Empire) not get the memo from the Rockefeller's? Apparently, not. No big suprise that Exxon will continue along their destructive path. But at who's expense? Yours. Whether they poney up and pay on their own accord (you have a better chance of winning the lottery 100 days in a row) or they are forced by the courts doesn't really matter. It will show up at the pump. BTW, Exxon alone made enough last year to solve this problem and still have $10B left over. -DragonOn Big Oil will shell out for groundwater cleanup posted 1 year, 6 months ago 3 Responses

  • The Way of the Dragon

I'm sure Big Oil will assist with this fight. It's in their best interest to do so. Polar Bears, Carribou, Bald Eagles, Seals...you name it, they all stand in the way of oil. Actually, I'm kinda bored hanging out with T-Rex, the Red Crested Fox Eagle and the Phoenix. I could use more company. Send the Polar Bear my way. Seriously...what does he do for humans? Same could be said for the others. They don't really have any positive impact for gas guzzling humans. I say get rid of 'em! Anyway, tell Polar Bear best of luck..I'll see him soon. -DragonOn Polar-bear listing decision must be made by May 15, says judge posted 1 year, 6 months ago 4 Responses
