Environmental Shift ?

It seems that a handful elected politicians have become environmental advocates. This is good. But, will we see actions in Congress and at all other government levels to reverse environmental degradation? Our drinking water and health is being threatened by toxic and carcinogenic drinking water. How many politicians recognize this? How many of us know this?
Politicians will respond, but only if we all become environmental activists and mobilize. My new book,"A Drinker's Guide to Pure Water--Is Your Water Safe?"linked text  suggests some specific actions,and sends out a wake up call. Will, we the public, wake up and demand action? Will we continue to allow appointed  political bureaucrats and elected officials, beholden to corporate self interests and $$$, stifle real environmental protection, and effective environmental legislation?
