Because I moved to WV last year [for college] I had to comment on the 'main dish'
When I joined the enviro org on campus, we helped host a gathering to discuss mountain top removal. Sadly, only a few people from here and there came to the meeting. Larry Gibson, a passionate local, was nice enough to hand out his phone number at several enviro events. He's the one living on Kayford Mtn. where all the surrouding mountains have been flattened. In fact, he WANTS people to come up to his farm and check it out. His story breaks my heart everytime... his land was once surrounded by rolling hills. Today, you can see far off in the distance.
