bamboo flooring
I got excited when I saw the bamboo floor when it was all done. It looked really nice. But after living with it for two years it just is not all that it is cracked up to be. It is not as hard as oak, which I was told, and thus the finish chips and wears poorly. It would most likely be fine in a den, as long as there are no rolling chairs, or a bedroom. We have it in the kitchen family room and it is not holding up well. Be mindful of where you are putting the bamboo floor, low traffic will work OK, but it dents and the finish wears in high traffic areas.On Umbra on bamboo flooring posted 3 years, 8 months ago 4 Responses
