Control measure
I agree that the best method is to physically remove the eggs before hatching or remove the tents. However, a 'natural' alternative is to spray the tree with a product called Dipel--it is NOT a conventional chemical pesticide, but a bacteria (Bacillus thuringensis kurstaki) that when ingested proliferates and kills the caterpillars.On Umbra on tent caterpillars posted 1 year, 5 months ago 14 Responses
