OK, So what happens.....
....when everyone runs home to the 'burbs at night, turns on their AC, and plugs in their car? Electricity has to come from someplace and all the alternatives from wind to PV cells require large inputs of fossil fuels to build and maintain. The present grid can barely handle the load now.
