Post Slow Food Nation Post
I loved the event and participated in everything I could on my budget, but I saw its contradictions. Celebrating great food, talking about "fair" food. They did a great job at throwing a party while keeping the politics front and center which is not an easy balancing act. I am a little perplexed by Slow Food USA as an organization - checked out their new president and here's what came up:
