Mass Backwards
What an odd move, in light of all the initiatives statewide to reduce environmental impact:
- Mass EOEA's (Exec Office of Environmental Affairs) year-long Sustainable Design Roundtable, where building authorities in the state are on the verge of agreeing to pursue LEED silver for all future state buildings.
- MA DEP has just banned asphalt paving, brick, concrete, wood, and metal from landfills beginning 7/1/06.
