Cost of nuclear construction
It is true that the cost of construction of nuclear power generators has gone up dramatically. It is also true that costs of constructiong wind turbines has gone up proportionately as well because they use the same materials. On a watt for watt generated basis it takes ten to one hundred times the material (concrete, steel, aluminum, copper etc) to build wind turbines versus nuclear power plants and wind turbines last for 20 years, reactors last for 60 or more years.On The latest sorties in the war over nuclear power posted 1 year, 5 months ago 43 Responses
