  Re the "terror-free gas."

  1. I disagree that there are "serious problems" with Venezuela. I agree if this business became widespread it could lead to additional pressure for drilling in areas like Alaska.

  2. Two things struck me about it. One was that in the news clip, which was little more than a free commercial, they carefully avoiding showing the price of the gas.

  The other, more important, was that the entire attitude of the undertaking is that the Middle East is "an area of the world that wants to destroy us." We are, in their view, targeted by Arabs. Not by Islamic terrorists, not even by terrorists generally, but by Arabs. Apparently, all Arabs. So all oil from the region is supporting terrorism and all companies doing business in the region are supporting terrorism.
