  Parks for Sale...

  While Pombo's mouthpiece at the House Resources Committee claims the proposal to sell national parks was simply an attention getter, a purpose it truly served, what should be as equally disconcerting as his proposal is the lack of outrage by Democrats. The GOP seems to be imploding, what with the SEC investigation into Sen. Frist, the indictment of DeLay, and the White House's continued stumbling about. Yet in this void of leadership the Democrats are nowhere to be found. And we definitely need some leadership across the board, not just in the environmental sector.
