  Time is Money, but Money won't buy you Time

  I completely agree that time is a much better gift than just about anything bought with money. This year for Christmas I plan to buy plane tickets so that my mom can visit her parents, who due to health cannot visit her anymore. She keeps telling me no, because it's too expensive, but it's more important that she spend time with them than recieve a silly snowman display that will stay in storage eleven months of the year. My little brother, at the prime consumer driven age of 13, still understands that time is more important. His main argument for wanting a new video game was that it was a two-player game and we could have fun together.
  One of the best gifts that I have given was a little fridge magnet that said Oklahoma! wrapped with till-tape, to a coworker and live theatre friend. The joy wasn't dependent on the expense of it, but on the memories that it brought back.
