  Very Big Deal -- Lots of Work to Do!

  I wish Guade00 was right and this was no big deal.  13 million acres are unprotected until Obama or Congress take action!  

  This does make it a no-brainer for Obama to immediately and fully reinstate the rule, and for Congress to quickly begin working to strengthen and codify it.  However, even in an "enlightened" political time, no-brainer and simple are not always the same thing.  

  This should serve as a reminder that the work has only just begun.  Get involved, write letters, make phone calls, make sure all of our elected officials hear from us whether we perceive them to be friend or foe.  Ensure that our public lands management reflects the values of the public!On Roadless rule limited to 10 Western states, judge rules posted 12 months ago 4 Responses
