I can't believe no one suggested a pot with a thermal carafe. I won't mention brand names, but I have a 12-cup pot with a thermal carafe that will keep coffee hot enough to drink for about 12 hours (and I, too, demand my hot drinks HOT. Then I refrigerate the left-overs and make iced coffee for a quick-pick-me-up.
