  I am getting really sick and tired of this domestic spying story. So what?  I have much more important things to do with my time than wring my hands over the fact that government agencies are spying.  I do not have a problem with it.  I am doing nothing wrong. If they want to read my email, I really don't care.  Some people have brought up the Ben Franklin quote about those who would give up liberty for security deserving neither, but good old Ben did not have to deal with bin Laden, Zarquawi and their ilk. So I say, spy on.

  RE: The sum of Alito fears

  Is it just me?  I do not believe the average American gives a hoot about this Alito guy. Look, they are gonna do whatever the heck they want in Washington anyway.  How is this going to affect my everyday life.  I am struggling everyday to make a living and pay my bills.  I bet if you stopped the average man or woman on the street, they would not know who the dude is and wouldn't care.  

  I think all this noise is coming from interest groups, grandstanding politicians, and media people.  The real people out here couldn't give a rat's ass!  Maybe I sound just a tad cynical, but that's how I feel.On Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito has enviros worried posted 4 years ago 1 Response
