Save the arrows for the other side
It doesn't really do the environmental movement or the critical cause for more clean energy any good to sling arrows at our own supporters.
There seems to be little doubt that for clean energy to truly become widely used across all demographics that we need to create reason for all demographic groups to embrace what we all know to be critically necessary. If this work gets new segments of the population to demand clean energy than that is ONLY a good thing.
Plus, if history has taught us anything, we have learned that government action is longest lasting and immune to political forces when a majority of Americans support that action. If we can demonstrate that a viable and sustainable clean energy marketplace exists across this country, than our elected officials will see the common sense is matching the voluntary efforts with policies that support mandatory clean energy use.
In the end we need both a voluntary and mandatory clean energy effort in this country. But until we as consumer show the demand, our elected officials have no reason than to do nothing but turn a blind eye.On Marketing clean energy posted 1 year, 4 months ago 2 Responses

Important Marketing for an Important Cause
It is rewarding to finally see the environmental movement embrace the same consumer understanding that can make or break everyday consumer products. The environmental movement is finally figuring out that understanding how to appeal to a mainstream market is more effective than simply hammering away at the same old tired slogans year after year after year.
