Using frames requires leadership
This makes all too good sense to me. Quite possibly people like readers here do not promote the more effective frames because we find it hard to believe that anything that individuals (including scientists) are doing or will do will have any effect.
This needs leadership from someone who already has media heft and preferably some political power to change the frame. Someone who is willing to take the heat from those who profit from existing technologies, at that.
