  NYC tap needs testing first!

  We need to introduce water testing to the conversation.

  I've lived in NYC for nearly a decade, but when I moved to Greenpoint, Brooklyn, I started getting stomach aches every time I drank from the tap, even after using a filter. Obviously, even if a person has a sensitive stomach, drinking from the tap should be the last thing to cause it.  Now I use bottled water for pasta too!

  I don't know if it's linked to the second largest oil spill in America that took place in Greenpoint in the 80's or if it's old pipes in my building.  But before I any resident in this neighborhood is required to drink from the tap, some serious water testing needs to happen first!On Water, that is posted 2 years, 3 months ago 11 Responses
