projection
What about those units that project onto your wall? Wouldn't they be the most efficient because there is no screen to power? On Umbra on LCD vs. plasma TVs posted 9 months ago 5 Responses

Don't forget your thread
Fiberactive Organics (http://www.fiberactiveorganics.com/) makes organic cotton thread that is distributed by YLI and should be available from your local quilt shop. And here is another site that sells organic fabric by the yard: http://www.alabamachanin.com/store/index.php?q=node/433&a ... If you are interested in making quilts Quilter's Dream Cotton makes a batting from recycled soda bottles and Fairfield makes an organic cotton batting. Robert Kaufman (http://www.robertkaufman.com/green/) has a line of organic fabric that should be available from your local quilt store. Hope some of that helps. On Umbra on organic fabric posted 10 months ago 17 Responses

grow your own
Once you've taken your fireplace out of commission by inserting a chimney balloon you might as well use it for something else:

Tasermons-Did you even read my post?
You quoted my post and refrenced Ted when I was clearly talking about Mark Begich. WTF? Everyone knows Stevens is owned by the oil companies, that's why he was found guilty. My point was that representing the people who elect him doesn't make Mark a whore for the oil industry, and I think you can expect good things from him.On Sen. Begich is better than you think
Mark is all for drilling in ANWR (much to my dismay)but it is because that is what the people of Alaska want not because he's a whore for the oil industry. If someone could convince people up here that it is a bad idea (and don't forget you'd be trying to convince people that were brought up here by either the military or the oil companies, because that's the majority of our population) if you could somehow change their minds I'm sure Mark would stop supporting it. However Mark also supports alternative energy up here which is more than I can say about any of our other idiotic politicians. In the meantime you can do what I do and follow him on Twitter and send him a direct message with a link to any mention that Grist makes about what a bad idea drilling in ANWR is.On Sen.
