  Powerful interview

  This interview should be spread far and wide. This is a politican speaking from the gut, no spinning, no framing, no script, just raw truth. This mayor loves his city and is trying to fight for it against overwhelming odds including a dangerously indifferent president.

  The harvest is plenty. The laborers are few.

  Christensen makes great point

  I was quite impressed with Jon Christensen's article, "Forgive Us Our Debts". The idea that environmentalists should expand their focus to include issues like world poverty is catching on. It seems that an integral approach which recognizes that environmentalism is wrapped up in other issues like poverty, hunger, war, lack of health care, etc. is more exciting than it is daunting.
