  salting the land

  Expanding the question on the use of salt in agriculture leaves me with the question of how long can we irrigate and fertilize farm ground before it fails to produce a profitable yield?  I understand that California has already had farm ground fail due to this problem. ??  Irrigation water brings in salt and evaporates just like water running into the4 dead sea.On Umbra on salt posted 2 years, 3 months ago 5 Responses

  Vancouver is beautiful, but the last I heard they were still planning to stop dumping all their considerable gallons of raw sewage into the puget sound and contaminating all those wonderful beaches and ocean life.  If so, how could they be listed so high on the green city list- unless it is bluegreen???On 15 Green Cities posted 2 years, 3 months ago 51 Responses
