  It was not a car in the conventional sense.

  It was an omni-transfort vehicle which would allow user to travel on land, water or in the air once the physical technology caught up with Bucky's thinking.  He designed it to go with his Dymaxion House (now on display at the Ford Museum in Deerborn, MI) so that you could put your self-reliant (not hooked to any grid) wherever you wanted and travel to it without roads in your Dymaxion Vehicle.  To me, that is a dream come true.On Dymaxion vehicle posted 3 years, 3 months ago 2 Responses

  Weaponry to Livingry

  I wrote the book Buckminster Fuller's Universe in 1988.  At the time this concept was not as critical as it is now.  We no longer have the reources to make war while supporting all the people on our planet.  In fact, since 1976 when we proved that we have enough food and other resources to support all life on Spaceship Earth, war has been obsolete.  We don't have to fight over stuff anymore.  In fact, Bucky said we are each billionaires, but we don't know it.   There is enough....On My love affair with Bucky Fuller posted 3 years, 3 months ago 6 Responses
