  Is Al Gore any better?

  As a non US citizen I look at things without political agenda. Thus I wonder if Al Gore is any better. As mentioned in this blog, the annual electricity usage at Al Gore's home has risen by 10%. That despite the fact that one already pinpointed him as being hypocrite when he consumed 221,000 KWh of electricity in 2007.

  Forbid SUVs

  Hi,

  I don't understand why one does still make such bulky cars. SUVs have no use whatsoever on concrete/asphalt roads. I'm driving > 20 years now and never encountered a single moment that I wished to drive an SUV. As mentioned in this blog, SUVs should be forbidden.

  It's all about money

  Hi,

  In my eyes, it has nothing to with gender, with money and lobbying. As mentioned in this blog, the Belgian government voted in 2002 a law to abandon nuclear power. One has made several attempts not to implement and thus cancel out this law.
  The real truth is that Electrabel - the nearly monopolist power supplier in Belgium - doesn't want these nuclear power plants to be closed. Built with tax money, they are already marked down (for depreciation) for years now and thus each day that those plants remain open are extra profit.
