  IF one wants bipartisanship...

  I would suggest Olympia Snowe. She is a republican who believes global warming is a serious threat. She consistently votes pro-enviroment, moreso than Hagel or Lugar.

  Don't believe the hype

  Emanuel is bought by the Nuclear and Clean Coal Lobbies. If one wants real change, meaning real change to alternative renewable energy, Emanuel is a huge step backwards.

  The LCV is not a good litmus test for judging a politician's green policy. LCV only judges votes  moderately favoring environment friendly policies.   There must be a mistake

  Schwarzenegger is not green. It's seems to me the author just went for any politician with the most name recognition that is moderately green.

  Modest green proposals does not make one the greenest politician, especially if those proposals were offered by democrats, and California is one of the most polluted states in the nation.

  Also, Bloomsberg is a corporate tool. He supports green technology if it brings back large profits. Did you not see what Bloomsberg did to the recycling centers in NYC? Or the coops for the homeless?  He got rid of them because they "cost too much money." In order to be green, one must put the environment over profits.

  Barbara Boxer is moderately green, but she does not deserve to be on this list. It is shameful to not see Dennis Kucinich on this list.

  This list more accurately resembles a popularity contest than ranking of green politicians. I actually laughed at most of the suggestions. Merkel? funny... Arnold? Hilarious...On 15 Green Politicians posted 1 year ago 34 Responses
