    Litigation happy

Even though he "won" Vargas is now suing them a second time for "spite fencing" and underground storm drain damage... this isn't about shade, trees or alternative energy - this is about a vindictive person using the legal system to get back at his neighbors.  Having gone through a similar suit myself, when people don't get their exact way, they can be ultra-litigious just to get 'revenge.'  This is obviously what Vargas intends with the multiple suits.  Makes me sad, especially considering the trees were there long before the solar panels.  He deserves a whap upside the head.On Trees win in California solar panels vs. redwoods dispute posted 1 year, 4 months ago 9 Responses

    Believe it or not

I have found many of my favorite organic shampoo and laundry soaps at costco in very large bulk containers. (We don't have a large co-op where I live).  You may want to check your own local store.  On Umbra on buying eco-products in bulk posted 1 year, 6 months ago 17 Responses

    What now!?!?

I have read all of Umbra's articles on BPAs... but this article goes even further and now I am totally at a loss.  If I can't use plastic food containers, what in the heck am I supposed to take my home-made organic lunch foods to work & school in?  I have tried glass containers and wound up with with a 25 lb lunch bag.  I can use glass containers at home, but as a full-time employee and full-time student who has to cart 3 meals worth of food around with her all day - what the heck am I supposed to use???  On Umbra on plastic bottles and BPA posted 1 year, 6 months ago 13 Responses
