NO: Carbon Sequestration is not an option for several reasons. First it just does not address the problem at all - the burning of coal and the resulting pollutants which extend beyond atmospheric pollution to toxic waster water in streams, mountain top and environmental/species destruction. Secondly: one day in the future we will have to address what we have "buried". What if for some reason the CO2 storage begins to leak back into the atmosphere (earthquakes, earth movement) and a huge surge re-enters the atmosphere all at once - it would expedite the very problem we are attempting to correct - climate change. Additionally, we do not know how the earth will reabsorb this into our ground waters and soils. There are no sane quick fixes. We just have to roll up our sleeves and address the core problem - stop polluting our atmosphere, water and soils - that have massive impact on both our environment and human health - AND CONSIDER EVERY SOLUTION AS TO ITS END-OF-LIFE CYCLE AS IT IMPACTS THE ENVIRONMENT AND HUMAN HEALTH IN BOTH THE SHORT AND LONG TERM.On Is "we're going to burn the coal anyway" an argument for carbon sequestration? posted 1 week, 6 days ago 40 Responses

Where's the outrage? Not one Comment. Have people gone blind, deaf and dumb? This is our oceans that we depend on for a healthy human life. When are we going to get serious and raise the issue of the dangers of oil rig drilling, both on shore and offshore? When ocean life is murdered because of our incessant and insatiable needs, perhaps we will wake up only when it is too late to the simple undisputable fact: WITHOUT A HEALTHY BALANCED NATURAL WORLD WE HUMANS DO NOT EXIST. PERIOD.On Oil spill a 'massive' risk to Australian marine species posted 1 month ago 3 Responses

Totally Agree: I don't understand why we humans are so stuck (addicted)to our ego-based lifestyles and unwilling to return to sensibility when faced with our possible destruction. Great comments and responsible questioning Chris. At time I don't think we we are going to make it - but I do know we cannot continue the way we have been going like pac-man consuming all in our path with our insatiable appetites for profits and goods and not expect to pay the heavy price for this myopic vision. And you are right, we have been rushing to short-term solutions without taking into account the end life cycle of manufacturing and the ultimate impact on the environment and human health. Nature is so intelligent, giving and abundant - why don't we align with and learn from with instead of trying to bend her to our will?On Why Branson and SuperFreakonomics are wrong, in pictures posted 1 month, 1 week ago 33 Responses

http://thenaturaleye.com - Article: AN URGENT MEMO TO THE WORLD http://twitter.com/pdjmoo If our organic planetary system collapses - there will be no shareholders, wall street, and politics as we know it will fracture. Corporations and businesses are made up of humans - not inanimate objects. I commend all organizations who are focused on becoming responsible for our fragile and fast-disappearing eco-systems that we depend upon for our human survival. The priority should be focused on that which supports us in every moment of every day - our Natural World. For without a healthy, balanced natural world we humans do not exist. Period. An entirely new business model must emerge from this awakening. One that supports our very foundations of life .It is not stocks and financing that keeps us afloat - it is Nature. Get it right this time!.On WSJ reporter knocks own editorial page for Chamber defense posted 1 month, 1 week ago 4 Responses
