    Herbal Soap

Here in the Philippines, we have a great product called Victoria. It's laundry detergent, comes in powder and a bar, and is 100% herbal! You can use the wastewater for your plants. I know my plants love it. It also takes stains out really well and smells awesome. On Umbra on channeling gray water to the garden posted 4 years, 6 months ago 8 Responses

    Oh dear

Sometimes, when I get obsessive-compulsive, I use poor tissue papers to open public restroom doors, and discard them after while getting the heebie-jeebies.

Still at other times, I like to feel like a princess and take hot baths, before my dates, wherein I allow my boyfriend to pass for me in his car, though my house is totally out of the way.

I love anything wooden (though I make sure it's sustainable, but who really knows anyway). And I love our ivory heirlooms.

    I agree

Funny, I was just telling my boyfriend that I would have to put my weirdness on hold for my country's environment. Being someone normal and even savvy makes you relevant to the very people whose consumer habits you wish to change. Furthermore, I am definitely predisposed to walking barefoot, but dressing up is good fun too. I've always had an alter ego that buys designer duds. When people find out you're into the environment, there's not such resistance or stereotyping. I know this sounds really really sad and a wee bit awkward, but we're all instruments in making them think it's "cool" and normal to want to save the planet. On Yes, clothes really do make the activist posted 4 years, 8 months ago 24 Responses
