Thanks for well done informational series.
Peronally I see CCS like I see Ethanol. Another way for narrow interests to be subsidized instead of giving support to promising nonprofits like a Berkeley engineer has ready to go. It does not produce electrons it just keeps us from burning so many fossil building blocks. see

Turn off Lights?
Good questions
#1 Houselight in developed countries burn more Electricly (mostly COAL).
Houselights in undeveloped countries probably burn more oil(kerosene for lamps)diesel for generators for lights.
#2 The point is only a comparison. If you replace the kerosene burned by lamps you reduce CO2 as much as turning off all lights in deveoped countries. Not intended to slight developing countries. see following.. it is source of my comments.

Sprinfield has Sprung
Kate...
It all sounds very green. But Obama and Biden need something better than another ethanol raising food cost political mess. The problem is the expert advisors often have agendas. Breakthroughs rarely come from experts presidents listen to. Whats wrong with Obama and Biden asking someone like the Berkeley engineer who has been developing energy answers since he was kid?

Brink of Disaster
I wonder if Care International and Dr.Charles Ehrhart have any way to be aware of a potential ready to go way to reduce CO2 as much as turning off all house lights in developed countries? It is the apparent claim of a UC Berkeley grad engineer. It looks reasonable.

Joe Biden's Record
Thank you for the concise run down on Biden's Environment record. I don't like the apparent effect of pushing biofuels has had on world poor who were barely surviving before food costs increased so much. There is a way for politicians to help the poor pay the higher price. The route is interesting. see
