Bush think people want change?
I like the fact that Bush thinks joining kyoto would be popular. Sometimes it doesn't feel like that's true, but considering the human ideology-shields he has around him, it's nice to know that more than 50% is getting through...

in relative terms...
Just for anyone else who wanted to put this in perspective, Wikipedia says that the US economy "was estimated as $13.8 trillion in 2007".
In other words, this $900 billion is about 6% of the total economy (same as the economic bailout package), and between 1/3 and 1/2 of the cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Sounds like a good idea to me...
