Yeah Michael! Please, please, please keep talking and educating our American public, my friend. When our President quotes your words on a national television forum, granted it was during his election campaign, it shows he is reading your work and listening to you. Keep it up!On Climate Citizen: Michael Pollan on agriculture and health care posted 1 week ago 3 Responses

I love hanging laundry out, but unfortunately living in Montana I can only do this in the summer. The winter days don't provide enough sunlight on my clothesline to dry them properly, but I do what I can. As to the people who don't like seeing someone's underwear on the line...My granny always said that you put the undies on the inside line as she would say, "that's the way nice girls hang their laundry so the neighbors can't see the yellow and brown ;-)." You gotta love your grannies for teaching you the morals that they did. God Bless her, I sure do miss her.On A surprising sneak peek at the clothesline revolution posted 1 week ago 31 Responses

I agree with Joel on a lot of points. I like to think of Mr. Salatin as Michael Pollan with boxing gloves on. I don't want to see the USDA or FDA eliminated, because that would not solve anything, but I really wish that the industry lobbyists would be barred from Washington, DC, because our decision makers tend to listen to them more than to their own citizens. Of course, they have way more money than any of us have and as the saying goes, "Money talks." But is the lobbying bullsh*ters would be forced to walk, I would be much happier. Then we would finally be closer to having a country made for and run by the people, which is what our founding fathers tried to make it.On I drink raw milk (sold illegally on the underground market) posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago 49 Responses

I really have hope that Tester will act for the environment. As an organic farmer, he already is invested in the environment and will do what is right. I have faith in Tester. On Jon Tester (D-Mont.) posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago 1 Response

I really became interested in this subject after watching Morgan Spurlock's "Super Size Me" and even more so after reading his book "Don't Eat This Book" and I still do not eat "fast food" after watching this film. In my opinion, it should be re-named "fat food". Check this movie out at your local library if they have it, or borrow it through inter-library loan. It will open your eyes.On Scientists claim junk food is as addictive as heroin posted 3 weeks, 1 day ago 18 Responses
