If you should not breathe wood smoke because of the dangerous toxicants in it, why on earth would you eat something drenched in it?
Aside from that, your neighbors won't appreciate your smoke drifting into their homes.
Use an electric or gas appliance to cook with outside and save your health and the friendship of your neighbors.
