  I have recently found the website www.Givecards.org.  This organization takes your unwanted or unused gift cards and turns their remaining balance into cash, which is then donated to one of four selected charities.  Right now the charities are Blood:Water Mission, The American Red Cross, The American Heart Association, and The Salvation Army. An estimated $8 billion is lost a year due to small balances unused or forgotten on gift cards.  If you have a gift card with a remaining balance more than the cost of posting (which is free for you, paid by the organization), givecards.org is a great way to donate the remaining balance.     On Umbra on gift cards posted 10 months, 1 week ago 10 Responses
