Refusing the Status Quo
It seems like I'm seeing more and more brand new videos and songs that call for a flat out refusal of the status quo. And they speak to me. Do they speak to you? Why or why not?
For me, when I see the science behind climate change and resource depletion, then I take a look at our consumption habits, I see a HUGE gap between where we need to be and where we are. And it is getting wider. And the national and international institutions we created to manage so much of our civilization seem ill-equipped to bring about the change that the planet requires of us. What's going on?
