  Celebrity Greenwashing

  Celebrity greenwashing is as prevalent as business greenwashing. I applaud the efforts of these people and the organizations they represent, but it does not negate the other things many of them do. They wear designer clothes to ritzy events that serve beverages and food that are not local or organic; they fly in airplanes - even private airplanes - to every part of the earth; they promote consumption through product endorsements; they live in huge houses, sometimes owning several residences; and they add to the overpopulation of the earth by siring more than one child.

  I think the Green Couple, Ed Begley and Bill Nye are walking the talk much more than the other people on this list.
