  Naked/EcoLips

  I used to be a Burt's Bees devotee... until they sold out.  I've tried a lot of different natural/organic lip balms looking for a suitable replacement and settled on two that I really liked - EcoLips Gold has jojoba oil in it and it works really well...   Popcorn fanatic

  I found this secret a few years ago to get home popped popcorn to taste like movie theater popcorn.  Pop it on your stove in coconut oil.  I don't even need to use butter, just some salt (velvet salt sticks best to popcorn, btw) and I'm in heaven.

  Another popcorn trick... if your kernels aren't popping like they used to, they may be dried out.  It's the moisture inside the kernel heating that causes it to pop, so you may need to 'remoisturize' your kernels.  In a glass container, add some water to the kernels (approx 1TBS per quart of popcorn... adjust to the amount you have).  After 2-3 days, the popcorn will have absorbed the water and will pop up fresh again.  (these are the things I learn living in the desert)On Why conventional popcorn sucks, and what you can do about it posted 10 months, 2 weeks ago 20 Responses
