  Farm Bill

  Let me clarify something that is very important in regards to the USA Farm Bill: the vast majority of the farm bill actually goes to agribusiness, not family owned and operated farms.  In fact, the Farm Bill is yet another pork barrel black hole for folks who don't need nor should get taxpayer help.  Don't belive me, check out this site - http://www.cwg.org/farm/index.php?key=nosign

  The family farm is on the endangered list.  The future is bleak and the USDA and state DAs are completely owned by agribusiness who have made it very clear that they intend to elimate family farms.  I agree that the Farm Bill is worthless; it is not helping those that it was supposed to help.  The best thing that we can do to stop this is to get BIG BUSINESS out of government.On Bush's farm bill "reform" proposal falls woefully short posted 2 years, 9 months ago 1 Response
