I completely agree with the comments by Solargroupies. But unfortunately, these are the very delegates that are protecting their nations financial interests. With an economic crises at hand, it seems that most of the proposed ideas will involve finding a third party to foot the bill.
I believe everyone reading the report agrees the situation is dire and requires immediate action, but I doubt they agree with paying for it with their nation's dollars.

I've seen End of the Line and it's easily one of the most harrowing but hopeful docs I've seen. It's tragic seeing how the blue tuna is on the verge of extinction, making it more expensive, and thus more attractive to fishermen...

If you have strong feelings on water efficiency and/or flooding from global warming, then watch these and send them to people you know. Everyone can help turn climate change around.

That's an interesting and innovative idea to maximize this program. I don't know how easily that could be implemented, but it does reward those trying the hardest. This should enourage people to make their lives as efficient as possible. I saw a really great video earlier that might help get some people living more water efficient lives. Check out them out at :

Students wrote and directed those, can you believe it? They're really working hard to raise awareness and get the public involved. It's a cause worth fighting for!

I agree that current cap-and-trade legislation simply doesn't cover enough ground. Too many industries are pumping out toxins and we're focused on utilities. If you're passionate about slowing climate change, I just watched some student vids that are worth checking out:

These kids wrote scripts or sent in videos on water efficiency and climate change flooding. Hopefully in the process they'll make a lot people think about their own water efficiency and carbon footprints.
Never hurts to put your ideas out there, so let's encourage them to keep at it. Give them a view and spread the word!

Mom could defintiely get on board with this! Fun way to turn-around environmental damage. I'm trying to bring awareness by spreading the word on the winners of the Tomorrows World video contest:

They had a competition over videos about water efficiency and flooding. Living off the West Coast, it's a very real worry of mine. I think the winners did a great job! Check out their work and forward the link if you like it.
