AC doesn't run constantly
I suspect fan's would still win, but an AC probably does not need to operate constantly. The peak wattage draw of an AC unit will not match the average draw for a 24 hour period. A cheap device like a kill-a-watt could be used to measure the 24hr KW usage for a small window unit and compared to a fan operating for the same duration.On Umbra on fans versus AC posted 1 year, 4 months ago 19 Responses
