Who doesn't appreciate a good asset?

G-Money is trying to get ScarJo on board for Live Earth. And why not? She's got great assets -- which is, alas, more than can be said for the rockers in Antarctica. We heart geeks and all, but they ain't no Kelly.

Pow! Bam! Kaboom!

A rediscovered comic book touts the joys of nuclear power. Says the anti-nuke crowd: what about the impressionable children? Say the world's children: what's a book?
Power for Progress.

Vatican-do

We like the bit about cars not being an expression of power and domination, but the Vatican's new 10 commandments for driving left one thing out: Thou shalt not ride in a silly hat.

But McConaughot still made the cover

A big, sloppy kiss to Grist fan Ted, a WWF activist who made People's list of sexy greens. And a demure, closed-mouth kiss to People for realizing such a thing exists. Have ya seen the rest of those Grist readers? Swoon!

My nephew is brainwashed

with Kerry's talk of global warming being so impressive to fresh college students I have a real concern for the direction of facts they are headed in. You tell me if and when we have solar flares how that effects the earths climate. I believe it has a major effect on the earth. I understand about the geomagnetic field and the different locations of obsorbtion in the earth when we have solar storms just enough to want you opinion on the matter.....if you have both feet on the ground enough to see that Kerry stretches stories like military. I am very concerned also with the issue that we are n ot funding space weather satelites. Doesn't anyone care about weather forecast? Or are they going to wait until it is too late? What is wrong with the agenda of great value? Or do we have one? All talk and all talk I am sick of it.

I'm sorry...

what?
