We don't quite see the charm of this fruit-powered clock, unless we're timing how long it takes fruit flies to infest our living room. And being able to turn a lamp on merely by breathing? Hell, we do that to men all the time.

Like "Thriller" but with trees
Global warming made a special appearance on TRL last week -- in a hip-hop video turned PSA [PDF]. The up-tempo Dr. Octagon electro-track warns "trees are dyin'" and features a bespectacled suspendered kid bustin' moves in an industrial post-apocalyptic world. So, a typical day on TRL.
