Comment Posting Rules

When leaving comments, please keep the following rules in mind.

1. Don't be a jerk. Nobody likes jerks.

2. You can edit your comment for up to one hour after posting it. This is intended to allow small changes to misspellings and the like, not full-scale rewrites.

3. Try to avoid profanity. The English language is vast and magnificent.

4. Do not direct personal attacks at a poster or fellow commenter. Substance, people. Substance.

5. Don't be a troll. (Troll: Commenter who makes outrageous or provocative statements purely in order to derail discussion.) You know who you are.

6. No spam, no solicitation, no links to porn, no internet detritus of similar ilk. Sell us on your point of view, not your Amazing Mix-o-matic 2000!

7. Seriously, don't be a jerk.

We're confident these posting rules will prove entirely unnecessary, as our audience is composed of intelligent, well-spoken, tolerant folk. But we reserve the right to chide, suspend, or ban your account as we see fit.

Speaking of accounts, pretend that Grandma will be reading everything on your profile page: hobbies, avatars, bios, etc. That is to say: Keep it clean. You can report inappropriate content here.
