You Fey me

Tina Fey as Sarah Palin, again 7

This is brilliant in every conceivable way:

Note the inclusion of verbatim passages from the actual Palin interview. It parodies itself.

Unintelligible comedy goodnessAs with Bush, Palin is a native speaker of gibberish.  But Tina does it so much better than Palin.
The campaign could maybe send Fey out as a political pinch hitter, the base would not know the difference and it could fool enough low information voters to win.
Let the media scream, only a few Obama voters watch any news channels that will care.
Once Palin/McCain wins with Tina's help, her comedy/political career would soar.  A new Colbert for the "end times"?
Arma..geddon it on!  Shill, baby shill!!

Ever Read An Obama Transcript? The thing is, a lot of what Obama says is pure nonsense, but because everyone is so ga-ga they never really analyze what he is saying.
As far as Palin, look, we're not electing a policy wonk to write reports in the State Department.  We're looking for decision making ability.
What I noticed in the 1st debate is that Obama didn't lead...he followed.  By the second half all he was doing was responding to McCain and making half hearted "me too" isms.
That's why Bush is a great leader -- because he's often chosen the hard road for the good of the country.

Really?I think the actual Palin stuff is way more over the top.  Tina Fey actually DID NOT seem as clueless as her--Palin has entered a new realm by becoming beyond satire...

When?Which brings up the point again setb.  We had an actor as president, when will we get a comedian?
Isn't Tina Fey, for instance, a lot smarter and more capable than just about any president we have had?  You don't get a top comedy job by merely graduating with honors from the ivy league, you have to earn it, in competition with the brightest and funniest people on the planet.

I don't know if she's smarterBut she's had a hell of a lot of influence over this campaign.
I think her full throated defense of Clinton actually gave her a bump before Ohio & Texas. And this parody of Palin has made her a laughingstock.
