This is brilliant in every conceivable way:
Note the inclusion of verbatim passages from the actual Palin interview. It parodies itself.

The campaign could maybe send Fey out as a political pinch hitter, the base would not know the difference and it could fool enough low information voters to win.
Let the media scream, only a few Obama voters watch any news channels that will care.
Once Palin/McCain wins with Tina's help, her comedy/political career would soar. A new Colbert for the "end times"?
Arma..geddon it on! Shill, baby shill!!

As far as Palin, look, we're not electing a policy wonk to write reports in the State Department. We're looking for decision making ability.
What I noticed in the 1st debate is that Obama didn't lead...he followed. By the second half all he was doing was responding to McCain and making half hearted "me too" isms.
That's why Bush is a great leader -- because he's often chosen the hard road for the good of the country.

Isn't Tina Fey, for instance, a lot smarter and more capable than just about any president we have had? You don't get a top comedy job by merely graduating with honors from the ivy league, you have to earn it, in competition with the brightest and funniest people on the planet.

I think her full throated defense of Clinton actually gave her a bump before Ohio & Texas. And this parody of Palin has made her a laughingstock.
