TopicsActually, I think people will more likely browse by the topics each story/post is tagged with. For example, Aimee Witteman's latest post is tagged with the following topics: agriculture, ag subsidies, Congress, politics.Dave, being the geek that he is, loves our new topic cloud, which can be refined by both type and number of results.

Website comments vs. blog commentswiscidea, I assume you're referring to this comment, which is associated with a website article (a cartoon actually). Note that the recent comments box only lists comments made to Gristmill posts. We're in the process of creating a recent comments box for website content.

every cloud has a dark interiorI noticed that the following are missing from the topic cloud: war, military, conflict, international conflict, military/industrial complex, bloodshed, jihad, warfare, and similar topics.
Is Grist intentionally excluding certain categories? Are they actually a tool of the military/industrial/fundamentalist complex?
    "War" is an environmental issue.
What's up? How's a troll supposed to post his message in the appropriate location?

    Forward!
