It was all said beforein the little ditty from Walt Disney's Peter Pan, "Oh never smile at a crocodile. Oh you can't get friendly with a crocidile."
    And the Republicans are crocks.

News flash: Mad Maccalls for appeasement to the Republican Party.  "This little piece of paper here says they'll only take Czechoslavakia the drilling, but they'll help us after that!"

Counter pointThe drill, drill, drill fighht has been lost.
So counter with reduce, conserve, and ration.  Voters need a real plan to see a way forward to energy security.
It is time for democrats to harken back to FDR, push Obama and every democratic candidate into real leadership on energy, econmomy, and foreign policy.
Oil demand reduction that keeps ahead of supply constraint is in our power as a nation.  Take a hold of that power as a party and we will win.
Restore america, stop the oil addiction.

I would love to coopt the GOPbut reality is reality. Outside of Republicans for Environmental Protection - which is irrelevant to the main direction of the party - the GOP is to the environment, what the KKK was to the civil rights of African American.
For now, and for the forseeable future, they are the enemy.
