It's easy to point a finger. But take a look at where your computer and all the other gadgets in your house were manufactured.
If we don't like dirty air in China, we should start making the things American consumers use every day, back here in America.
Globalized capitalism is a much bigger villain in this story than dodgy Chinese bureaucrats.

"This may well be permanent damage.
"I am no world expert but to have significant pollution is a problem.
"Let's hope that's one of the legacies of these Games is the realization of the damage that has been done and will continue to be done unless they are more careful.''
Coates, a senior IOC member who commands significant influence within the Games governing body, is the first member of the Olympic movement to criticise the outcome of Beijing's environmental strategies.
