From Butts to Bedtime 5

  1. Tap that ass

We like Butt Butts and we cannot lie. Awkwardly placed spigot and all.

  2. Stem well-researched

Wish your homegrown zucchini was better-endowed? Urine luck! Just be careful not to squat over your alt-pesticide cannibalistic plants. Eat your heart out, Little Shop of Horrors.

  3. Get your fix

The female mechanics at a new hybrid-only garage in San Francisco are very picky about whom they allow inside. But if you come, it's a Luscious experience.

  4. Fashion, victim

  5. Inconvenient youth

Does your kid suffer from hyper-eco-activism? Try this bedtime story, which tells yoots that "while riding a bike saves energy and is a great exercise, it gives you less time to do other things, like sports or homework." That'll teach 'em!

The Sky is Not Falling???Has anyone read this book?  Although I appreciate the sentiment of addressing eco-angst in children, is it a realistic optimistic outlook or just a denial of facts?

the sky is not fallingUnfortunately, the sky IS falling and our kids will be the ones to suffer the consequences.  We all need to WAKE UP to the clear evidence and stop naysaying.

"The sky is not falling"How did this book make it to the Grist list ? I assume it is by a mistake and that you will correct it.

Unless it is not a mistake and you changed your view point and you now consider global warming to be made up by fanatics and "has been" politicians, as the book description tells us.

Thanks for telling us if it was a mistake or if you stand by your post.
Otherwise, congrats for the website !

great (read "twisted") sense of humorIt's a joke (the inclusion on the Grist List).  I don't think joke is sufficient a term for the book itself.
My greatest disappointment is seeing that the author is from my alma mater.  My child is looking at colleges this year, and MSU-Bozeman was on the list, mainly at my urging.  This isn't the only reason it no longer is, but it sure weighs in the measure.

Most likely luscious as in "Luscious Jackson" and it's in San Fransisco, meaning you ain't gonna get no torque there if you're a dude.
