Sarah Palin, in her Sept. 11, 2008, interview with ABC News: "Show me where I have ever said that there's absolute proof that nothing that man has ever conducted or engaged in has had any effect, or no effect, on climate change."
Palin, in a Newsmax interview last month: "A changing environment will affect Alaska more than any other state, because of our location ... I'm not one, though, who would attribute it to being man-made."
Palin, in an interview with a Fairbanks newspaper within the past year: "I'm not an Al Gore, doom-and-gloom environmentalist blaming the changes in our climate on human activity."
Palin, during her 2006 campaign for governor: "I will not pretend to have all the answers." She also cautioned against "overreaction" on climate change. Later, a spokesperson told a reporter, "She's not totally convinced one way or the other. Science will tell us. ... She thinks the jury's still out."

Well, McCain has a very consistent record-
His message is clear: here is a detailed list with links to roll call votes: McCain voted 50 times against clean energy

Flip flop flip flop
She doesn't know what she thinks until her lobbyist campaign handlers tell her what to think. That's decisive leadership?
It's nice that she noticed the permafrost melt destroying Alaskan's homes though. Did she notice it threatening to destroy existing oil pipelines?
Time for another flip flop?

Want to come up with a coherent theory
of climate change. Well, well, you are admitting that there isn't one.

So the Statospshere (upper atmosphere) and the Troposphere (lower atmosphere) are the two primary layers of earth's atmosphere.
They represent over 99% of it, the rest is essentially just vacuum.
_
Now can you explain to me why the Stratosphere is getting colder?
Since the way I see it. It's as if there's something in the Troposphere blocking heat from getting into the Stratosphere.
Meanwhile, the Troposphere is heating up.

Wow
that was coherent?

Simpler? OK.
Fair enough, how about this:
You effectively got 2 atmospheric layers that make up the near entirety of our atmosphere.
You got sunlight coming into the earth, and heat reflecting back out into space.
If "something" in the lower layer, were blocking heat from getting to the upper layer; Then what you'd expect to see is that the lower layer would get hotter while the upper layer would get colder.
_
Well guess what,
That's exactly what's been happening.

This Planet I Love
It is not a question that the climate is changing and it is not a question that the people that live here are impacting its change. The only question is what the eventual outcome will be. On one side you have the uncontroled heating of the Earth until it becomes a red world instead of the blue one and on the other, you have a world that heats to a point then freezes in an ice age. Argue as much as you want about the outcome but none of them are acceptable. Change is hard and scarry. Change is probably the most scarry thing out there. One way or another and at some point in time, it will be necessary to change. This time, let us change in the right ways before it is thrust upon us!
