    not Bushwait!  Didn't Clinton not sign Kyoto in 1998 and Congress back him up in not signing by 95-0 (the Byrd-Hagel Resolution)?  Even Gore and Lieberman said that it was not appropriate.  How can it always be Bush, Bush, Bush?  The states are free to implement capping and trading programs; so why do you not petition your senator and congressmen/women to adopt a protocal similar to a host of NE states and CA?

    It is not a good policy and we can do better, far better, than Kyoto.

    it not Kyoto, then what...At some point, the refrain "what is in front of us is not good enough" becomes old and tired. If what is in front of us (Kyoto) is not good enough, then what is the specific alternative? Wait till we kill all the polar bears? We've wasted so many years saying "not Kyoto".
    It will be interesting to see what our "representatives" roll out at the December climate conference in Bali...
