"[Pelosi] is committed to her global warming fanaticism to the point where she has said that she's just trying to save the planet. We all know that someone did that over 2,000 years ago, they saved the planet -- we didn't need Nancy Pelosi to do that."

How about thisLooks like Pickens plan wouldn't be direct competition with PHEVs.
It'd be direct competition with rail freight.  (A large majority of that freight being coal)
"What I want to do is get the natural gas into the transportation fuel, and then we take the Trucks is where it needs to go, not the personal cars; And so the infrastructure to do that.  About 30% of our transportation fuel goes to move goods everyday, in the United States.  And those are the Trucks that are moving the goods.  So Those are the ones that I want to get on natural gas."

ChoiceI love that Bachmann quote -- it sums up so well the mindset of the wacko wing of the cultural conservatives.

tried to save vs. savedPerhaps someone TRIED to save the planet about 2000 years ago.
But the philosophy of turning the other cheek, not accumulating material wealth, loving your neighbors, not praying in public, et cetera didn't go over so well.
If only there was a large influential nation on this planet that truly embraced the most prominent words of Jesus Christ, Ph.D..... oh well.

Just ask himHas anybody asked him to turn water into wine?   This energy thing might be easier to solve than you think.   Then right away ask to turn some of the CO2 to H20.    You gotta at least ask.
